RECENT NEWS: External CPCS Plant Testing & Training now available in the North West

We have been trading since 1951 and were originally Fencing Contractors and became Safety Fencing Contractors when we erected the safety fence on the very first section of motorway in England – the M6 Preston bypass. Since then we have carried out many contracts, keeping to our original ethos of working with our clients to ensure we provide the highest levels of quality and customer service.

We also carried out the Safety Fencing on the very first ‘Lane Rental’ contract on the M6 at Preston and specialised in Lane Rental Re-Surfacing Contracts up until 1995 when due to a change in Government policy this type of work became scarce and we diversified to maintenance contracts.

Since the turn of the millennium we have grown into an industry leader in safety fencing and general fencing, which lead to us being in our bid to become main contractors in the safety fencing sector on Areas 9 and 10 Framework Contracts for the Highways Agency. We have recently been awarded a place on the CMF 2 Framework which will keep us at the forefront of fencing products.

In 2006 due to the organisation growing we moved into a purpose built yard in Leyland, which enables us to keep large quantities of materials in stock which eliminates long lead times on projects.

Since we moved into our new premises we have obtained from the BSI both ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007 and maintained ISO 9001:2000 and recently began conducting vehicle maintenance in our garage for internal works and external contracts.

In the last three years we have expanded our scope of works to include Slip formed Concrete and Steel Parapets, which now enables us to offer the complete fencing package to our clients.

All our workforce has been fully trained to meet the criteria sought by our industry and hold CSCS/CPCS cards by doing this we have become highly competitive as a company who has all the technical knowledge and expertise to be leaders in its field.
